What different places and forms can works of art inhabit from the moment they are created in a studio until they are presented in an institution?

Beyond its confines, via collaborations and in a range of occasionally unconventional locations, the Frac is teaming up with cultural organisations, independent artistic ventures and socio-educational partners in the Paris area to reimagine the prospects unveiled by Le Syndrome de Bonnard. Over the coming months, the works will appear, mutate and reconfigure in relation to the public or private spaces they occupy, far from their storage location. Alive and nourished by stories, they recount anecdotes from the past and invite us to imagine the future. The programme broadens the temporal and geographical boundaries, taking us on a journey through the stages, paths and moments in the lives of works of art, with the active participation of artists and audiences.
