The exhibition Faire Corps presents a selection of original works from the FRAC (Regional Contemporary Art Collection Île-de-France collection. Through different mediums, the artists exhibited examine the body, how it is represented and invested when it is a medium and a tool. By reinterpreting previous works, the artists interact and accolade one another often using absurdity and humour. Through performance, photography and video, the featured body in action is found in all its forms. The work of the artists prompts us to question the body’s place in contemporary art and how it connects artists and spectators.
