Multiple Art Days

Frac Île-de-France is once again a partner of Multiple Art Days, offering a programme of videos in the boiler room of the Fiminco Foundation for the 8th edition of MAD on 8, 9 and 10 September.

With works by Angela Detanico / Rafael Lain, Benoît Maire, Anouchka Oler, Pierre Paulin

Under the artistic direction of Sylvie Boulanger and Nicholas Vargelis, MAD is inviting a hundred or so artists, curators, collectors and collectives from around the world to decompartmentalize artistic, editorial and curatorial practices and create the annual meeting of artist‘ editions and objects that teach people to see.

Indeed, for its edition, MAD is undergoing a metamorphosis, opening up a space for “objects with poetic reaction” as an extension to artists‘ books and multiples: objects that are sources of inspiration, creation, collection and observation, such as artists’ editions, sketches and diagrams, notebooks, prototypes, archives, collected objects and images. Like artists‘ editions, these collections of forms and materials are considered art objects by the artists. They will be editorialized by each participant.
