Format À deux – Muriel Leray et Julien Monnerie

Format À deux
Muriel Leray et Julien Monnerie

02.03–03.04.16
Openning on Wednesday 2 March, from 7 to 9 pm.

In her installations, Muriel Leray combines various elements, such as short texts in lettering, black frames and occasional objects, into precisely titled “poem blocs”.
Whether he collects fetish objects, such as cufflinks, or experiments with the most sophisticated technical procedures and processes to create his works, Julien Monnerie investigates the expression of style under its numerous guises.
The dialogue between the works of these two artists condenses in a series of signs that resonate within the particular context of the window display.
This new series of window displays was devised around the idea of young artists exhibiting together. It will unfold around the general theme of Jeux de langage (Word Plays) defined by the public outreach team of l’antenne for 2015–2017.

Muriel Leray was born in 1987, she lives and work in Paris. She is represented par Gallery Escougnou-Cetraro, in Paris.
