From kindergarten to university, the education department offers a programme that adapts to various situations and expectations, from guided tours of the exhibitions (at le plateau or at le château) to the installation of the pieces from the Collection, which can lead to yearly partnerships built around a biennial theme: Jeux de langage (word plays).

Partnerships are built around the biennial artistic and cultural programme Jeux de langage. By playing on letters, words, their meanings, but also the shapes these words can take, the artists write, draw, paint, print, pronounce… They even go so far as to invent new languages, through works that function as profuse modes of enunciation, of appearance, and of production of signs and images.

The underlying theme Jeux de langage will appear in the initiatives organised by the education department over the course of the 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 seasons: thematic sessions, art workshops, exhibition of pieces from the Collection in schools and universities…

Mentored projects
Students are invited to discover all the aspects of the design of a contemporary art exhibition, from the selection of works to the layout of the pieces, to the organisation of a cultural event.

Exhibiting Art Works
These long-term collaborations involve the implication of students and educators in the organisation of an exhibition or other projects involving works of art. The selection of the works is made from a short list coherent with the annual theme.

Each partner develops a project in collaboration with the Education Department, taking into account the objectives and the level of the participants. These projects permit a public not yet initiated to contemporary art to discover it directly, which is furthered by visits to le plateau and pedagogical sessions with artists and educators.

Potential partners: All school levels in the Île-de-France region, from primary to post-secondary education.

In addition, partnerships are offered to associations, youth structures, libraries, etc.
