Every month, the “Window Display” at l’antenne is home to a new art project linked to le plateau’s exhibitions, collection and educational outreach ventures.

“Painting is a need as much as a challenging and arduous process for Ségolène Haehnsen Kan. It is an ascetic practice based on a sort of sensual and moral combat characterised by negotiation at every step between the pictorial technique and its codes on the one hand, and the stuff of dreams on the other. Like any negotiation this is resolved over time and therefore the final work derives from a real unravelling over time, a sort of ‘work’ of the painting itself. It is a matter of harnessing an initial mental vision by creating with the shortcomings, inadequacies and resistance of its medium.”
